What was the last game you paid £49.99 or more for?

People are always complaining about the prices of video games, but i remember when a £49.99 was a hell of a lot more common.

In fact, i have to go back to Street Fighter 4 to find a game i paid £50 or more for. God bless Sexy Special Editions!

But how about you?

Well, not really! Yes, it was £60 but I had been looking forward to SF4 for about 10yearS

Cmon admit it you looked at it and went Ooo shiney and new Sf4 special edition like I did with Dr 2 there's Nowt wrong with it ! Lol

Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 - mainly because the collectors edition were on Game only and Game are generally more expensive than most online retailers.
Speaking or price hikes though, I wonder how many of you remember Resident Evil 2 and Gran Turismo were £50 when they came out.

i rememeber Turok Dinosaur Hunter N64 at £70!! We just dont know have good we have it!

I tell customers often about how much games used to be. They don't care though and look at me like it's my fault the games are priced as they are, stupid fucks.

Last game over £50? Don't think I've ever spent over £50 on a game. Forza 3 Collector's was technically over £50, but after discount, was under £40. Should change come November, GT5 Signature Edition here I come.

i paid £54.99 for halo reach special edition and £55.00 for dead rising 2 special edition.... and £39.99 for lords of shadow.yepper.

I still remember looking at a new copy of mario kart on the snes for £60.00 in ross records in waterlooville. My that takes me back.

We complain now, but thats like paying about £130.00 now.

£59.99 FFXIII limited edition without blinking an eye lid and a limited edition guild for £19.99 ....dam you Square-Enix

and a potential at the moment to trade in Castlevania for the limited edition which comes out in a month because i like shiny things lol

Oh and $49.99 Limited edition DMC4 of course
