Good news every one there is another delay yay! /sarcasm

The latest new is that the head producer (can't remember name) has delayed the game yet again to help perfect the game. So no more November release for every one!

I don't mind waiting but his going to kill the game before it even releases it haha a lot of people are going to be giving up waiting and not buy the game at all or even buy a ps3 just to get this game.

Ooooooooooh they got so close this time! I'm sure i heard that it's still due before Christmas. How can they need more time to perfect the game?

I have no idea, the guy didn't say much on the playstation blog and all they are saying is holiday season so it can be any thing up until early 2011 which does suck.

It's all a marketing ploy to make more money over the Xmas period trust me its gonna come out just before Xmas I betcha!

Read several rumours regarding the delay, the most plausible of which (Or least retarded, depending on how you want to look at it) Is that Sony/Polyphony delayed it so they could put update 3.50 onto the disc to try and keep it as safe from hackers and the like as possible.

Other reasons included the possibility of remodelling the front of the Nascar cars to reflect a recent change, and my personal favourite, Mr Yamauchi is such an OCD anal perfectionist freak, that he wanted to get all the graffitti on the Nurburgring right before releasing the game....

i read there is a basic track creation feature. amazing, near endless possiblities recreating famous racing circuits and of course Mario Kart and the ridge racer track!

Hm.. it really not like that i'm afraid.. i have heard two different way to do it, the video i saw pretty much generates them for you (think like worms levels) so you say you want a course in london, with 5 corners, in day light.. etc... or the other way i heard had been shown was you would have a landscape with pieces of road criss-crossing it and you decided which sections to connect...

Mr Dave is correct, I have it on good authority the reason for the push back is for the 3.5 firmware. This is a requirement from Sony and as such has made them miss their printing window as this time of year is obviously rediculous for printing discs.

So its all because people hack! this is why! thiis is why GT5 is going to be delayed!.......well that and the countless other reasons that Polophopny delayed it for lol

If anyone wants a good chuckle and a facepalm, head over to GTplanet and read some of the comments under the news stories tied into the delay. Some people really need to get out more and do other stuff, their comments are legendary in their paranoia and stupidity.

Just a quick update, GT5 went gold earlier this week and is being made and printed. Still no release date yet, but it looks good for sometime in the next month.

Though I'm still waiting for the next cock up to rear it's ugly head.

I heard it went into stamping a few days ago and don't say that there is never a cock up when it comes to GT its all about perfection

There's perfection, and then there's Mr Head of Polyphony Digital, who takes things to an entirely new and unfunny level

Still, if he didn't do it, the game would probably have died after number 2 and the world would be a much shittier place.

Dunno about christmas number 1, it'll sell well, but it won't beat multi platform stuff like CoD or Fifa.

Err, New Vegas, Force Unleashed 2, PES 2011, DJ Hero 2 and Guitar Hero: Inevitable Cash-In, are the only ones you haven't already got that are in the offer for CoD. New Vegas probably the best of that lot, though if you can come down at midnight, I'm sure I could wangle you a discount possibly if you just want CoD.

Good news children GT5 has a release date and its is know as Wednesday 24th November. Just before Christmas so can't wait hopefully no more delays!
