I was coming on this morning to post this, good work Rob!

Dantelockload will be pleased to hear me say this but im BUYING THIS GAME! my feelings on it are largely unchanged, most characters still look a bit shit. But C'MON Arthur is in it!

Ghouls and Ghosts was my 1st Mega Drive game so I have a Real soft spot for Arthur, and have been hoping for him to be in a Vs. Game since he was an assist character in MvC1!

Oh Crap! I watched the 1st vid and skipped the 2nd thinking I didn't know who Spencer was but it's the Bionic Commando guy! Thats kinda awesome.

Two Marvel guys announced tomorrow. I'm hoping so some all new to the series characters

I need a Marvel Fan to help me out here. Magento and MODOK are the next two MvC3 characters

Who in the blue hell is MODOK?! He looks ridiculous! Do Marvel have so few good characters, they have to bring out a fat head??

He's a scientist whose body was mutated by a organization called aim he was originally called modoc but changed it to modok after captain america beat him he's appeared in loads of comics hulk fantastic four included surprised you haven't seen him

Originally Modoc stood for mobile organism designed only for computing, he was basically a scientist who was made into a project by some bad guys callled aim (advanced idea mechanics), he was originally in Captain america but has been in fantastic four, hulk, ironman and avengers. He did change his name later to Modok which stands for the same as before except the k stands for killing. He's 100% a bad guy and he's powers are things like psycic blasts and energy type of attacks he's not really the type of character who's gonna go hand to hand with oponents. i don't think he's gonna be the most awsome of all the marvel characters but it will be interesting to see what his special moves are? Good point, I think it's just the nature of the beast, we want to play as characters in MvC that we have played in other games. You just play as the bad guys, you kick their arses!

I want Cyber-Akuma to come back as a 2nd to last boss guy, we need someone EPIC to close the game. Maybe a combination, like M.Bison and Venom co-piloting a huge Mech or something!

as for more playables, for capcom, sagat, nemesis, megaman/x/zero/volnaught, Donovan (darkstalkers), Pyro (darkstalkers), Edward Falcon (power stone), HUNK (resident evil fame), Akira Kazama or Daigo Kazama (rival schools), Red Arremer....

Nemisis would be a good character choice, but think with Redfield and Wesker we are Resident Eviled up! We do need a Street Fighter villain thats NEW to the Vs Series.

I'm definitely feeling some Rival schools love would be good to have Batsu in there. I'm kind of hoping each character will have their own boss then an overall game boss as it has been mentioned more than a few times that MvC3 is going to have a lot of emphasis on the story. Obviously Virgil vs Dante = Cream my pants. Some cool news on Spidey having the costumes from shattered dimensions too

Also can I just say................I FUCKING TOLD YOU!!! its even recorded on a podcast that you would want this game Rob! and don't try to back track saying blah blah some of the characters still do not look good the fact is you want the game and from now on you should listen to everything I say ever !

I've been giving a lot of thought to MvC3 after talking about it in the chatbox last night. I think I'm starting to figure out what's stopping me from getting excited.

I dont love MvC2 anymore, and it's the PS3 version that's killed it. Playing on Ps2 or DC was awesome cause I was able to pick tag teams of my favourite characters and create amazing groups of characters that you would never expect to share a game, or make dream teams of Ryu, Ken and Akuma fighting side by side!

But playing competitively has soured the experience and I'm tired of fighting Doom/Strider combos, or having Magento or ironman infinite me into oblivion.

The love of the game has died, and with it my excitement for number 3. Anyone else have a bad taste in their mouth from MvC2?

Honestly I think for me TvC kinda stopped me liking MvC2 as much as I do/did before (it's still a classic though), honestly it's down to the 360's D-pad and how the 2.5 of SSFIV and TvC out performs animation wise compared to the hand drawn sprites of MvC2, I am excited for the Idea of MvC3 due to it being in same vein as SSFIV and TvC, if they can nail the controls how they did for the D-pad for SSIV then I will be happy.

I love the majority of 2D Vs fighting games and hope MvC3 is a game that will keep the genre alive.
