Super Mario 3DS

The 3DS may become my favourite console of all time.

Nintendo life reports that a new mario bros game has been announced at the GDClink

it's been announced that the handheld console will be getting a new instalment in the Super Mario series, featuring traditional Mario gameplay that we've all come to know and love. Developed by Nintendo EAD, the team behind Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel Super Mario Galaxy 2, the 3DS's stereoscopic effects will allow Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto to incorporate depth and distance into a game like never before.

with this and SSFIV I am starting to dig the line up, if resi works out nice as well then wow 3DS is starting to kick ass, roll on the 25th..

Pity this didn't make it as a launch title but certainly makes 3DS an interesting option come Xmas time!

Also, did anyone else notice the racoon tail on the logo?

well what with SSFIV, some good looking Resi Games, Pilot Wings resort (8/10 from Eurogamer.net) DoA Dimensions,MSGS and Super Paper Mario,plus some other games I think Nintendo decided to wait on this just to make sure the 3DS wouldn't kill everything in site or a more Serious Answer is it will give me something to look forward to between SSFIV bouts... also noticed the Racoon tail in the logo and the fact it is developed by EAD, same guys behind SMG

Haha I never got into the 3D Mario only one I actually liked was Luigi's Mansion.

As long as it is not like mario galaxy its a must for me...

If its the equivilaint of mario 64 (ds) i will buy a 3DS tomorrow! and just countdown to release lol

Personally, have never really enjoyed a 3D Mario game. Well, maybe Sunshine for a little while.

Give me Super Mario Bros 3 any day.

I will hear you and Raise you World, no wait err 3 no wait I like one as wel dammit I can't decide between SMB,3 or world for my fave in the series, actually give me SMB World with DKCR style Graphics.. and 4 Player style Gameplay at once (over the Net as well,) of Wii but have Mario, Luigi, Wario and WaLuigi in stead of the two toads... do it do it now!!!

Well if you had peach and toad it would be the US/UK Version of SMB2

I don't like Waluigi either.. but what are the alternatives??
