Castlevania : Lords of Shadow

Finally find some time to play it and I fell in love with it straight away they game is just epic. The game is up there with God of War III, I've only played through the first act and I'm starting to like it more then GoW

Any one else tried it out?

I was gonna wait for some time off to play it - but I caved. The game is excellent so far and the DMC3 style chapter selection makes it easy for playing and replaying in small bouts.
Excellent graphics, great cutscenes, very good moves, awesome soundtrack and some ideas of its own - It's everything I hoped it would be.

The graphics are sweet and it runs smoothly, the voice acting is just amazing couldn't of got any one better then Patrick Stewart doing the narrating. The first boss reminded me of shadow of colossus haha.

When I first played the demo I wasn't to sure but so glad I bought it now.

I think this game is gonna take a long time to complete. I've been playing a section or so every night and i'm still only on chapter 2

Haha chapter 2 still? awesome such a good game deserves game of the year. I'm waiting for my week off before I start getting into it gives me a chance to complete other things.

Finally completed it great game had some really annoying levels at the end tho but managed to get pasted them, was a good ending but the cut scene after the credits was a bit confusing :s

I liked it, I hated it, I loved it. The trailers had made me anticipate a game with a good story...this wasn't one. If you go at it expecting a fairly hack and slash style story and excellent gameplay you won't be far disappointed. It reminds me a lot of DMC1 in that respect.
After I got the platinum, I kinda want to play some more, so I've been playing again on my Varunastra account .
The epilogue was my best bit of the story - and certainly the most Castlevania bit of the game. A waste of Jason Isaacs near the end I thought, but the game was good.

there is some dlc coming out too apparently...

The new DLC that was ment to be released today for europe has been delayed which sucks as America already has it.

Yeah - they really have taken waaay to long on this DLC. Well at least it doesn't clash with the ME2 DLC now. Hopefully it'll be out next week.

Was looking forward to it and its only the first one wounder how long the second DLC will take haha.
