Im pretty tempted. Its the better version i guess, as it has the extra levels. just wondering how the thing will control

Just played Sonic 4 Episode 1 (XBLA) and i'm really disapointed. Just doesnt feel special. Im sure it was a labour of love by Sonic team, but rather than a full blown sequal, it feels like a farmed out HD remake of Sonic 1. Lets call a spade a spade, thats pretty much what it is.
I didnt expect the world, but my expectations were higher than the Sonic 4 trail ended up

I've never understood Sonic...and I still don't. Played the demo on the US PSN and still didn't know what was going on.

Completed it yesterday and apart from it being waaaaay! too short i actually really liked it. Lots of throw back to old sonic and the graphics really are nice. However things im not happy about.
Most of the music blows
The run animation looks a bit shoddy
and the stupid homing attack!
but overall not too shabby could have been alot worse so ill give it a 7

True yes but it has a story, where as sonic is just run from A to B with out a story apart from the DS ones which had kind of a story
